Dr. Mustafa Al Hiti Drug Scientific Bureau is a private business. The main business is in Baghdad, Iraq with a supporting office in Amman, Jordan. The business was started in 1997 as a division in Al-Maimana International Trading Group as a supplier of pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies to Iraqi Ministry of Health (public sector).

Then, In January 1998 the Iraqi Government stated an Act no. “4” dated 1998, defining the function and the requirement of the “Drug Scientific Bureau”. Clause No. 22 of that Act stated that ‘’All foreign pharmaceutical and medical supplies manufacturers companies who opt to supply the Iraqi market, must be represented by a Scientific Bureau in Iraq owned by an Iraqi pharmacist . In June 1999 “Dr. Mustafa Al-Hiti’s Drugs Scientific Bureau” was established.
